About Business Grant
Take Your First Step Into Entrepreneurship
As part of the Government’s strategy for achieving economic growth and sustainable development, the Ministry of Youth Development and National Service (MYDNS) has received the approval for the establishment of a Micro and Small Business Grant Scheme to support individuals wishing to take their first step into entrepreneurship. NEDCO has been given the mandate to facilitate the disbursement of the Micro and Small Business Grant.
About Business Grant
Eligibility Criteria
The business should be a new business start-up or should have been in operation for less than 18 months from the date of application.
If operational- The business should have an actual turnover of less than $250,000 over the last 12 months.
- For the new start-up, the forecasted turnover for the first year's trading must be less than $250,000.
Applicant's Criteria
Be at least 18 years of age
Own 50% or more of the business.
Must comply with any legal requirements necessary for operating their business.
Possess the relevant skills, experience, or qualifications to carry out the proposed business
Additional Requirements
Viable Business Plan.
Cooperate with the Business Adviser and provide all relevant documentation and information.
Cooperate fully in the evaluation and future marketing of the Grant scheme
